United Acceptance posted a payment Is unheard of. A lender that make 3 payments to one scheduled date . Then tacks the 21 $ late makes no sense at all. Not to mention no has access to there account history/ balance . Then offers a deferred payment option, but are unable to provide the Me with details as to how much the this would cost me . There isnt a single business person who would agree to something so uncertain. Repeatedly asked for written statement explaining these issues. I was told I cant do that No one can. Oral arrangements do not hold up in court. Intentionally blocking customers from Viewing accounts is absurd.

You haven't the slightest clue of what you're talking about! At the start of an auto loan, most of the payment goes to interest.

That's called amortization and is STANDARD for ALL auto loans, home loans and many others! As time goes on, more and more goes to principal!

This is NORMAL. Thanks for the laughs!!!

Well tell me why I switched it to another company and now I've almost paid it off my interest rate was 17% there it is now only 8.7% and I pay 30$ in interest a month vs the 300$ in interest I was paying at United acceptance if you think they are so great u get a auto loan through them and then tell me your opinion.

This company charges false charges then when you refuse to pay them for it they hold your titles.. my car was sold to them without my permission by a in house financing car company then I was expected to pay extra fees just to pay my car note to a company I didn't even sign a contract with... Run for the hills of you have to deal with them. Even their customer service is janky and rude!

Funny! I love it when you serial deadbeats write your whining reports when you haven't any clue as to what you're talking about!

The loan is owned by the lender. The buying and selling of loans happens everyday in every state in the country!

It is THEIR loan and they don't need to tell you their plans not seek your "permission". Looks like you need to find some other reason to whine!

They are just trying to make money? Isn't that such a surprise!!!

Why didn't you go to a charity to get financed?

Where do you people even come up with this screwy idea the lender is supposed to "help" you? Why don't you help your boss by taking only half a pay check?

Anyone, and I repeat anyone, that is on here defending this company, must be on their payroll. Anyone that has dealt with them knows that they are one of the trashiest companies out there. Nothing will change my mind about that.

No it’s not about defending them but about the person taking the loan expecting others to “work with them”. When they signed the contract they did t read it or they would know that there is no wiggle room.

YES!! They are in business to make money. Just as you or I would be in business. They are there to make a profit!!!

How is that a bad thing? When YOU make a profit do you expect everyone to hate you for doing so? All they are doing is what they are legally allowed to do. It comes as such a surprise to these people when they are held to the terms they agreed to.

You get behind on your note, the vehicle gets repoed. Oh you’re ONLY 2 months behind, why would they repo you?? Why won’t they work with you? Because they have already worked with you getting the loan!!!

Why should they lose money because the customer can’t make their payments? If it were YOU and your vehicle, your property, was in the hands of someone who has willingly defaulted, wouldn’t YOU want you property back? I’m just saying that some of these people do not read what they are getting into and then bash a innocent party because of their ignorance. How is that fair?

Or right in any way? They are shocked that they are being held accountable to what they agreed to!! It doesn’t matter what your opinion of them is. That’s your opinion and is only relevant to you.

The reality is that these people do this to themselves and blame others for their shortcomings. To expect a business to “work with you” shows a serious lack of a grasp on reality. They have done their part, the customer doent do their part and the business is the bad guy. I swear you people simply refuse to accept the reality that you agreed to!!!

You do this to yourselves and it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault.

When are you people going to accept your part? If you believed every single sob story on just this site alone then YOU would incorrectly believe that every customer is a victim.

On hold for about One hour trying to get the payoff for my vehicle.

Hours are from 9-5pm Monday - Friday only. I work at a dealership 6 days a week. How are we support to get a payoff if a customer wants to trade in a vehicle over the weekend. They don't even have a 24 hour call center like all the other credit lenders do. Or even have a call center up 12pm on Sat. What a F company... Hours are from 9-5pm Monday - Friday only. United Acceptance - Auto Loan Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Several years ago the loan on our vehicle was transferred over to this company for the remainder of the note which was under a year. We decided to begin furiously paying off the truck.

The final payment was due in January however I had made the final payment in November via cashier's check (big mistake). In March, out of the clear blue, our vehicle was repossessed. We were very confused because the truck had been paid off as far as we knew. We contacted them the very next day and they stated they never received the final payment.

I asked why they never contacted us about it they replied they had made multiple attempts. We hadn't moved, phone numbers had not been changed etc.

We spent nearly two grand getting it out of repo with all the fees and repaying the final payment. Lesson learned: do not use a cashier's check because you can't exactly track it Also, they reported the repo to the three credit bureaus and refuse to take it off.

The problem is not with them calling. The problem is with them making 10 calls in one day then calling for 4 more days after I had discussed the situation with them on day one. These are only the calls to my number they don’t include the calls to my husband during the same time.

United Acceptance - Customer Care Review

Probably like everyone here my account was transferred to united acceptance but not until a customer service rep called and spoke to me (very friendly, respectful and patience by the way with all my questions) after i said ok then she said,"ok we will send you a welcome letter keep making payments to the dealer until you get our letter" so i did, when i went to make my first payment online noticed they were charging me 2 payments i figured it was the last payment i made to the dealer i called them explained they told me that i could fax the payment receipt if i wanted to, but that they believed me, faxed it anyway called dealer, they aknowledge they had payment and will be spending it to United acceptance (which they did) went back to my page like 2 weeks later (everything was taking care off) only had my regular payment due.. customer representatives have been nothing but nice, respectful, helpful M, Rodriguez... Exactly! The ONLY people who come to a site like this are those who cause consequences by not paying on time.

Like little babies, they come here to cry, stomp their feet, wail and whine blaming the lender for what THEY caused. Continue to make your payments on time and you'll do well! Oh yes, don't be surprised if the serial deadbeats respond here by saying "you must work for them"!

They have no intelligent rebuttal, so that's the only response they can think up! I don't work for them either!

What's sad is you are the one that sound ridiculous. People have the right to their own opinion.

Just like cars can come and go and so can company's. You sound like the Winer going behind everyone and making a comment. You make the company look bad , by jumping in their complaint meaning their experience not yours. You are the one who needs to grow up.

I paid my vehicle off, but the company and website have a lot of work to do, because there is a such thing as good customer service and people deserve it whether you like their comments or not. And united acceptance looks bad by allowing you to respond like this. If I get a loan and it sells off to them.

I will take the bad credit all day. Because I will not go through them again.

Crooks, thieves, and outright criminals.

I bought a car from Insta Credit, evidently they sold my loan to United Acceptance without my consent. No matter how many payments I made, my balance remained the same for most of the 2 years I paid them. In the third year, the car broke down, engine failure, little did I know that the car had been in a terrible accident and was nearl totaled. So I stop paying on the loan and they finally came and got it. Then, they had the audacity to demand payment although they had possession of the vehicle. REALLY! I don't think so. 4 years later they sent me a bill for $ ridiculous amount. I think these people have lost all their minds and somebody else's. If I pay them another dime, there are no cows in Texas. These people make about as much sense as punishing your pet mouse by putting him on a all cheese diet.

To the person who replied to the comment *** . You obviously work for the scam artists

The FACTS! Loans are bought and sold everyday.

You don't own the loan, the original lender does. As such, you have no say in the matter. At the start of the loan, most of the payments are applied to interest which is the way ALL car loans work! Anytime you are late, you generate more interest for them.

The mechanical problems have NOTHING to do with the lender. Not making payments and using that feeble excuse resulted in YOU causing a repo. (I see we have a real smart consumer here!). Causing a repo did not end your contractual obligation.

Therefore, they sued you for the remainder of the contracted amount minus whatever they go for the car at the auction. As a result of YOU causing a repo, yes, this will be on your credit report.

Looks like you'll need to come up with some other feeble excuses to defame them because everything you mentioned was caused by YOU! No, I don't work for them.
